bill with the kcbs phone force just called us letting us know that that accident was just cleared to the right shoulder so slight delays right now but again, they just cleared that out of lanes so all lanes once again re-opened northbound 101 through redwood city so hopefully we'll start to see an improvement shortly. in the meantime, this could cause some big delays for really the remainder of the morning commute. we're talking about this major connector ramp in the east bay. southbound 880 to southbound 238, a couple of hours ago, around 2:30 this morning, there was an accident involving a big rig, hit the guardrail in the area and they are telling us that that traffic alert will be in effect until 9:00 this morning. now, you can use the connector ramp. they still have one lane open. but one lane remains shut down. so if you are coming down southbound 880 out of oakland, you may want to consider using lewelling boulevard as your alternate and cut up towards hesperian to 238. this could cause us some big delays unfortunately for the bulk of the morning commute like i have been sayin
